Senior Network Architect to Support Sales Account Team (Permanent Full-Time Employment)

Minneapolis MN, USA or Chicago / Chicago Suburbs, IL, USA

Our client is looking for a permanent full-time Senior Network Architect to join their team in Chicago or Minneapolis. The right resource will have the ability to explain complex networking technologies to small and large groups along with a professional poise and speaking ability is required. You must be comfortable translating complex technical architectures and ideas to a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences. Our company has a proven track record of delivering complex technology solutions to our customers, you will provide presales architecture and engineering support to the specific Account Team serving as a subject matter expert in the domains of network and security technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Cisco technologies is a must.
  • Understanding IT professional services and experience creating a scope of work (SoW), and estimating levels of effort for network services is a must.
  • CCIE Certification is desired
  • Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, VMWARE, F5, and wireless technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with Software Defined Networking and SD WAN is a plus
  • Cloud Networking AWS and Azure is a plus
  • Must be comfortable translating complex technical architectures and ideas to a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be comfortable concurrently handing multiple clients and prioritization of multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • This position requires experience in senior level coordination of complicated technologies, situations and projects.
  • An expert level of knowledge creating documentation and presentations with Visio and PowerPoint is required.
  • In this position you will travel to client sites and work remotely when not onsite during Pre-Sales engagements. Travel up to 50% may be required.

COMPENSATION:

$130,000 to $150,000 Annually
