POSITION SUMMARY

Advanced Energy is currently hiring a talented Sales Operations Analyst. The Sales Operations Analyst (SOA) plays an important role in providing operational support to the sales team and customer service department.  The SOA will work across departments to meet the various needs in order to achieve outlined goals. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, highly motivated, and able to work well in a team environment. The SOA must multitask and effectively work on a variety of process improvement projects while streamlining current processes. As part of the sales operations team, the SOA challenges the status quo in whatever he/she does. Self-motivation, professional curiosity, and the ability to expand her/his professional horizon drive the potential candidate.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop weekly and monthly reporting and provide analysis on sales performance KPIs.
  • Complete weekly reviews of critical path items and outliers based on KPIs tracked.
  • Design of processes, tools, and metrics for sales operations including but not limited to product pricing, sales forecasting, and sales reporting.
  • Establish dashboards to track Inventory, Sales and Operations Planning (ISOP) forecast accuracy.
  • Establish process documentation from end to end based on best in class business practices.
  • Use data to uncover underlying problems, detect anomalies, and find inconsistencies.
  • Review and adjustment of customer master data to implement a scalable approach to maintain relationships between customers, AE Sales personnel, and involved channel partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position will be located in Denver, CO.
  • Some domestic and international travel is required, approximately 10%.
  • Works in a standard office environment.

 

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of direct sales, channel sales, and/or customer service work.
  • Hands on experience working with channel partners, Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) companies, and providing direct customer management.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the end to end processes from the demand to supply chain.
  • Business development, process improvement, and project management capabilities.
  • Proficient in reporting and visualizing data in support of leadership requirements to make data driven business decisions.
  • Professional knowledge level with Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM and ERP software; Sales Force and SAP preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of statistical analysis and associated tools; tableau, R, Square preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the underlying concepts of Inventory, Sales and Operations Planning (ISOP).
  • Ability to run a project independently without close supervision while keeping stakeholders informed at all times.

 

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business and/or technology field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • MBA preferred.
