Our client, one of the largest furniture dealers is looking for a Full Time Project Manager to join their team. Experience using TeamDesign cloud-based software for the contract furniture industry IS HIGHLY DESIRED!

In this role, the Project Manager will be responsible for establishing budgets and schedules, meeting deadlines, maintaining client relationships, coordinating efforts with various client and construction trades to ensure successful, on-time moves.

- Lead role in managing a project -- delegate job responsibilities among team members, as directed, and oversee that quality work is being completed within the deadline and budget; supervise and oversee various supporting team members.
- Maintain active contact with client/design firm on all project activities.
- Work with vendors in developing contracts and pricing structure and review and coordinate billing and invoicing activity and project budgets.
- Prepare preliminary budgets and respond to bid requests
- Manage the delivery and installation process; resolve Punch List items.
- Develop and issue status reports and client updates as necessary.
- Verify all product specifications for clarity and accuracy
Attend client meetings in person or via conference calls; attend meetings also involving A&D and PM firms to ensure complete project integration.
- Ensure that the products delivered, or services rendered comply with specifications and meet installation standards
Coordinate shop drawing review for 100% compliance and accuracy.

- 5+ years' experience in furniture, preferably with a dealership, at least 3 years in Project Management.
- Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Able to read and understand architectural drawings, RFP packages, budgets and shop drawings
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a must
- Exceptional prioritization skills and able to clearly, confidently, professionally and proactively handle clients
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective relation building capacity with clients, partner and internal teams at different levels in the organization
- Able to delegate as directed by a Team Lead or Project Director.
