Conagra Brands - Indianapolis, is looking to add to our sanitation team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. You will work onsite at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St. and report to the Sanitation Team Lead.
Shifts Available:
Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:15am -6:45pm
Compensation:
$22.08/hour
You Will:
Perform cleaning and sanitizing procedures on milk and product flow systems between production cycles.
Manually control valves and piping to prepare CIP cycle.
Operate HMI to perform sanitation sequence.
Troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, monitor, and inspect CIP equipment for issues and enter defects when necessary to correct.
Coordinate work activities with work associates on the same or different shifts.
Exchange information with work associates to improve efficiency, safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Obtain and replace sanitation chemicals as needed.
Use pressured water hoses to clean production equipment and areas.
Use caustic and acid chemicals to clean production equipment
Acknowledge and respond to CIP alarms.
Operate Fork Lifts and Scissor Lifts.
Perform chemical tests to ensure quality and FDA standards.
Train new sanitors on various components of the job.
You Have:
Experience working in a processing, production, manufacturing, or distribution environment for 6 months or more.
Experience performing cleaning/sanitation duties in a production environment.
Experience working in an automated machinery environment (with PLCs or MMIs).
Experience working in a USDA, FDA, OSHA, or GMP-compliant environment.
